is a landscape architecture studio based in Narrm, engaged in design commissions, research, education, and critical discourse. Our work is grounded in an ethical and ecological approach, developed through close collaboration with our community of architects and clients. We focus on material ecologies and regenerative systems to deliver landscapes that benefit people and environment. We contribute to the landscape architecture program at RMIT University, where teaching and research are extensions of our commitment to a socially and environmentally responsive practice.
Small Practice acknowledges that we live and work on Aboriginal lands. Sovereignty was never ceded. As uninvited guests, benefiting from Country, we feel a strong responsibility to join Traditional Custodians and the First Nations community to care for Country and act with respect and reciprocity. We are always learning and we thank and pay respect to ancestors and elders for their generosity, knowledge and ongoing commitment.
